I can confirm this issue was around under Leopard both personally and from
the experiences of a couple of my colleagues. It was the reason a number of
them delayed adopting CS4. I largely agree with Marco's advice on early
adoption. It's something I try to avoid if I can although I do genuinely
appreciate the bug-fixing efforts of those who blaze a trail before me!
