Hi Richard,
I don't know if the PA series has it, but the NEC xxxxW series had a setting in the onscreen menus called something like (Colorcomp) that helped considerably with across screen uniformity. Does the PA241 have this and have you tried it yet?

Dear Richard
Just received one of the above SpectraView monitors and run it for three
hours before calibrating and profiling.
Verdict nice screen with larger gamut than the 3090. Sadly there is a
large area from just above half way up the screen in the centre and
towards the RHS that has a very distinct redness to it. Hardly suitable
for critical colour work!
