I still keep an Eye One Display 2 which is definitely defective.
It reads 6500K as somewhere around 3000-4000K.
And it passes the diagnostic every time.

One, see if you can select one of your older profiles to see if it changes your
display.
Two, download the i1Diagnostics utility from XRITE and follow the steps to
verify that your EyeOne Pro is working correctly.
Three, the ambient light function is to read the color of a light source, you do
not use this step during actual monitor calibration.
Four, the Color Navigator software for you display will provide a much better
calibration than EyeOne Match. Check to see if there is a newer version for your
display.
Your monitor calibration should work automatically if you have a DVI connection.
