Hi Chris,
On the surface, the functionality seems similar to the legacy software
product, ³Custom Color Tools². The product description highlights editing of
DVLs only. The Custom Color Tools product existed as a plugin that could be
used with Photoshop and would utilize a target patch set to apply a wide
range of editing functionality on source and destination profile tables in
addition to DVLs.
The important difference that I would like to highlight is that this legacy
product is entirely different from the current product ³Kodak ColorFlow
Software² which integrates within the Prinergy Connect and Evo workflow as
well as standalone within the Kodak Proofing Software. As of ColorFlow 1.2
(beta testing in January 2011), full editing functionality in both
Source/Destination and DeviceLink applications are available. The following
modes of editing are supported: White Point, Input Tonality, Output
Tonality, Selected Color, Grey Balance (global and selected), and Dark
Point. This release will be a truly feature rich profile editor.
Regards,
dave

This would seem to be similar to Kodak's Custom Color Tools, the profile
editing module of Kodak Colorflow.

"You can visually edit your files in Photoshop and then bake them in a new
DVL. An array of several
thousand colour patches "records" your edits (so just global edits, no
selections)."
