Anyone have any issues with results from custom icc printer profiles created
with iOne targets printed through CS5? I¹m using the standard TC9.18 large
patch set. I even printed through both CS5 and Preview (per the
recommendation from Adobe site). Targets appear correct when scanned with
iOne resulting profile reads as accurate (Delta E around .9 to 1.5).
After copying profile to Profiles folder, then applying through CS5 Print
Preview (Photoshop Manages Color- all printer color controls deactivated
-with any rendering intent)- the Epson 3800, 4800, 4880 all produce a slight
cyan shift across entire surface (as if using Absolute Colorimetric intent
matching paper white). The odd thing is...if I use ³canned² Epson Profiles
the problem does not occur. It only happens with custom icc profiles built
through iOne Match 3. Running 10.6.2 and CS5 as a secondary user not
admin (client ³student user² machines). I also built both version 2 and 4
profiles...same result any custom output icc causes printer to print
entire page with slight cool cast. Has anyone seen this? One more
thing..older profiles printed through CS4 that had worked perfectly- now
produce same result.
