If the Epson controls are set to No Color Adjustment then there should be no gamut limitation, if they are doing what they are meant to, which is of course the problem. I think that Epson, Adobe etc still see those of us trying to colour manage our workflows as the minority and so don't prioritise development of documentation in this area.
Our instructions for our remote profiling service are getting ever more complex as we try and cover the various versions of Photoshop and account for the various issues involved with certain operating systems and printer drivers.
