Rob's larger question is should he buy 5000K lamps to match his 6500K monitors?
It's easy to get confused by this, but in a nutshell: You will generally get the same look out of your prints at D50 illumination that you will get from your monitors at D65.
This is due to several factors including differences between reflective light and emissive light, how our brain perceives color at different luminance levels, and a bunch of other factors I don't understand but have seen. If you are matching a display to a lightbooth in a typical press-side situation, then D50 on both tends to work. But in the typical ambient light situation, you usually go with D50 lamps and D65 on the displays.
