Proof colors is definitely off. I've also rebuilt my ID preferences.
I believe now the problem is caused by working in a 2 monitor environment
where the apps are launched on one monitor and I'm looking at the images on
a 2nd monitor, which is profiled. I don't profile the monitor the apps
launch on because it only holds my palettes. This model has worked perfectly
for me in PS for years.
When I disconnect that 2nd profiled monitor, reboot, launch the apps on the
reamining monitor and view the images there, the images match between PS and
ID. I know PS and ID both set the default monitor profile to the profile for
the monitor the os and apps launch on. Photoshop doesn't get confused by
this but ID seems to.
Does this make sense? Empirically this is what's happening. Any suggestions
on how to get ID to handle the 2 monitor environment the way PS does?
Thanks
Bob
