Thanks for the encouraging comments, however as I'm sure you will
understand this rather suggests that NEC has a higher standard for
SpectraView monitors when supplied to your country.
I cannot think that I'm being too critical as the colour and density
change from one side of the screen to the other is very obvious and is
more than enough that one would feel compelled to make a colour
correction if this was an image file. As such I find this level of
lack of uniformity for both colour and density completely unacceptable
in a monitor advertised as being for critical colour work.
I've suggested to the supplier that they arrange for someone to call to
view the problem at first hand or that NEC does. Neither party has so
far felt it important enough to take up my suggestion. Needless to say
my credit card payment was processed for the full amount, and worked as
described <G> Incidentally we have to pay a considerably higher price
for these products here in the UK than you do, which makes the lack of
uniformity even more disappointing!
