the EIZOs you mentioned have IPS panels, likewise the NECs (2690, 3090, PA241W, PA271W and the future PA301W). The EIZO 301 has a PVA panel with the known viewing angle problems. I have the NEC 3090 on my desk, as well as the PA301W. Both show near perfect viewing angle stability.
