And many customers don`t have idea about what to do with histograms
and curves. Someone at the institution has purchased a V750 Pro
without any idea about profiling, gamuts, color spaces, MTF,... "just
point and click". WYSIWYG is metaphysics.
Which manufacturers ignore what? That everyone wants WYSIWYG or that
have to allow to correct tonal range with bundled software?

Profiling a scanner is a must. What is funny is that most scanner manufacturers do not consider that and most generic scanners do not even enable the user to set a correct tonal range of capture because they give no instructions on how to do it. Most default settings scan dark and pink in the midtone.
> Bottom line is EVERYONE wants WYSIWSG with a scanner. The manufacturers ignore this fact. X-Rite of all people should understand this.
