… and they are even hardware-calibratable!

David,
There are always the NECs -- I hate to sound like a broken record,
sometimes. The 42" NEC E421, for example, is a full HD LCD monitor.
At $800
a pop, suggested retail, it might be a suitable candidate? While
you're on
the NEC web site, you might want to take a look at their other,
large-screen
offering too. Just point your browser to http://
www.necdisplay.com/. Or
bing "NEC displays".
You may not find what you're looking for at NEC but you may be
pleasantly
surprised? Worth the trip, IMO.
This said, we all know that there are not too many offerings in the
large
screen size department.

Subject: 40-42 inch HD flat screen with accurate color
I am researching to purchase a large flat screen monitor to be used
in our
conference room to display images to internal clients (collections
managers
and curators) and for all the detail work that our staff hash out in
department meetings (review images, spreadsheets, web pages,
documents,
etc...)
I'm thinking of pairing it with a Apple Mini.
A nice 30 inch monitor with hardware calibration would provide
accurate
display of our images but that size is not going to cut it. Viewer
to screen
distance may be 10-12 ft or more, we will need to display text, etc...
Is there an option in a 40 to 42 inch HD 1920 x 1080 that can be
accurately
calibrated and profiled?
"Reasonable" cost and ability to use an i1 is a plus!
Thanks in advance for any tips.
