Interesting. I just tried this with Monaco Profiler 4.8, and it
worked. Black generation set to "none". With the MaxD. set to 300, the
shadow end will be a bit unbalanced for normal printing inks, however.
But there's nothing in the K channel.
Is that what you were looking for, or am I missing something?

Subject: CMY profiles with ProfileMaker 5.0.8
Hi, list
Long time user of ProfileMaker for output profiles, I have tried, for
the first time, to generate one for a CMY printer. I Printed an ECI2002
target and selected the NoK option available in the separation dialog box.
To my surprise, the resulting profile includes K values in the LUT, not
to mention the kTRC tag, which looks like a rollercoaster.
I guess that indicates PM was never designed to generate CMY profiles,
despite the NoK option.
Any suggestion on how to address this task, generation of CMY output
profiles?
Thanks,
Ignacio
