The lowest I've seen anyone run is 220 TAC. I've never heard of anyone
running less than that.

So I've been working with some small newspaper printers that have sheetfed
offset for some time now and I have been asked if I can do anything to
improve their color on the newspaper side. Obviously TAC is a big concern
but what other things are of note that I should take into consideration that
are really different from commercial sheetfed? They are running a TAC of 180
right now and claim that this is as high as they can get it. Seems to me
like something isn't right for it to be so low. They are also running
100lpi. They are open to some R&D to see if they can make the print any
better. Any advice?
Thanks,
