Not all good things in life are free!
The difference between ColorNavigator (which is a good product) and
basICColor display is the profile building method. ColorNavigator
makes matrix based profiles, basICColor display makes matrix or LUT
based profiles. And Color Navigator doesn´t support the DISCUS – yet!
Both do a hardware calibration (via USB), both use the built-in
instrument of the CG245s and the like (if you want that).

I want to calibrate an Eizo ColorEdge 241W in a MacPro with ATI

I have the Eye One Photo, and my question is in the software:
BasiCColor Display or ColorEyes Display Pro ? Any difference in
accuracy?
Didn’t the Eizo come with its own software (Color Navigator)? You’d
want to use that. Its built to use the unique hardware
functionality in that panel.
I'll second that. We have 15+ Eizo ColorEdge monitors and Color
Navigator does a great job. I believe both BasiCColor & ColorEyes
Display Pro can access the DDC and access all the functionality of
the panel, but they aren't free!
