I would say that FBA-free papers with a high paper white reflectance
make prints that are generally more pleasing to look at under varied
consumer lighting conditions. In that case the spectrometer type doesn't
make much difference but UV enabled spectrometers are preferred as they
in general measure a wider range of wavelengths. There is no need for an
arbitrary FBA compensation either in this case. Problem is few papers
exist like that, it is cheaper to use FBAs.
