Tom,
With all due respect to the standardization work that the ICC has done, ICC
color management is now so incomprehensible to implement on most powerful
platforms that it may be time to have some more understandable aspirations
on mobile.
Developers can only implement what they understand. And most devs simply
don't have time to understand the difference between sRGB or AdobeRGB, or
the difference between a relative colorimetric or a perceptual rendering.
So I would very politely suggest that we all go back to square one, and
create some sort of "color for idiots".
