Different specs. for NEC SpectraView screens ?

Further to the problems I have had with six consecutive 30" and 27" SpectraView screens, it has been suggested to me that the specs. for the screens delivered to Canada and the US may be different to those sold in the EU including the UK where I am based.

I have to say that I do not think this is likely to be the case, but to get a definitive answer to this I thought that someone here would be able to provide the correct answer.
