Robin,
Thank's for your reply. While the increments maybe finer than the standard
books provide, they still have to have a valid HVC notation, as in 5R 5/3.25
or 5.6R 5/2.9 and so on. I once remember speaking with GretagMacbeth about
some color I was looking for and the lady started to cite various fractional
HVC notations. That's why I'm convinced these FM100 notations to exist
somewhere, most likely in fractional forms since the difference, as you
noted, is so small between one another.

While it is possible to calculate Munsell HVC notations for the caps, I do
not think that is the way the Munsell-Farnsworth caps were specified. The
color steps are much finer than the standard Munsell books provide.
Measurements of these caps tends to support this hypothesis.
