>>Martin Orpen <email@hidden>: Therefore, if you set custom
page sizes to anything wider than 43" you'll get a paper load error
every time.
You might want to check and see--via the printer's LCD panel in the
"Printer Sedup" section--if the the 9900 has the "PPR Size Chk" option.
If so, try setting it to OFF. Also check the setting for "Sheet Size Chk".
On my 4000, I have "PPR Size Chk" set to OFF which allows me to feed my
7x10" cardstock short edge (7") leading via the paper tray--if it were
set to On, then I get an error when trying to feed the 7" edge leading.
I also have "Sheet Size Chk" set to Off.
One thing to note is that if you manually feed paper, "PPR Size Chk"
must be set to ON--at least on the 4000--or the paper doesn't load
properly. I don't think it affects roll paper--I don't use roll paper so
I can't check...
Hope that helps...
