Hello All!
I have been using X-Rite i1 Profiler version 1.3.2. and have building many wonderfully accurate RGB and CMYK output profiles and so far have been very pleased. I have just ran across two situations that have made me pretty frustrated. I have recently built two CMYK profiles that are giving me headaches.
1. I built a CMYK profile to be imported into Roland VersaWorks Version 4.0 which accepts all v4 ICC Profiles. I included .CXF data in the profile mostly because it was the default option in i1P. It would not import into VersaWorks, and the only way to get it to import was to disable the inclusion. I was ultimately able to solve this issue, it's the next issue that has me stumped.
2. Now the same might be true for EFI Fiery Command WorkStation 5 and a Docucolor 252. I built a v4 CMYK profile with .cxf data then uploaded to ColorWise as a destination ( output ) profile and it seems to have crashed the Fiery completely, not even allowing me to login.
Has anyone had a similar experience?
So far I guess the moral of the story is "Don't build v4 ICC Profiles with .cxf data". Can anyone tell me different?
Thanks!
