Seriously? X-Rite has a free monitor profiler for those of us who have
the hardware?
That would be a xmas miracle in my book.

What reasonably-priced software package would you recommend for
monitor calibration? ("Reasonable" meaning around $100, if possible???)
For calibration purposes, do I need to worry (or think about) the
fact that this laptop can automatically choose one of two graphics
paths -- either using the Intel Iris Pro or the NVIDIA GeForce?
(As background: I also have a collection of dusty colorimeter pucks,
along with various software that will not run on Mavericks due to the
earlier demise of Rosetta -- which partly explains why I've been on
Snow Leopard till now...)
Thank you,
Armand
