Please do, and I hope you're right. The creative controls in ACR are wonderful, and, when it's not accuracy I'm after, I much prefer them to the more traditional tools for that sort of thing in Photoshop proper.
I can't imagine ACR ever even theoretically being adequate for reprographic work, but, if you're successful in what you just described you're intending to try, it would more than likely make ACR ``good enough'' for some of the things I do, and it'd be nice to have that as an option.
