Terry, I most definitely did let X-Rite know I was looking for such a utility. It seems so incongruous that they put in the time to put together such a fine specimen in the i1pro2 but the i1profiler software seems like it's missing things, or at times feels glitchy, etc. It's not bad, but when I'm missing things that I used to have, it just feels frustrating.
Thanks for the suggestions!

There's also the ColorPort Utility (free) that will let you freely define a chart and allow you to look at the measurement colorimetry/densitometry without needing to save/export the data. It supports the i1Pro2 but only in "legacy" mode (M0, M2 only).

I was used to being able to take readings of all sorts of objects (not just charts) with the ColorPicker module and exporting spectral data, Lab colors, Photoshop palettes or a number of other formats with ColorPicker, a module in ProfileMaker Pro, with which I would imagine many of you would be fairly well acquainted.

I see that I can do something kinda like it by telling it to measure a chart, but I have to pre-define how many colors I'd like to measure and I have only one very basic export option for a text document of Lab colors. Not very wieldy.
