Worse...well, today, when you buy the software, it just works for forever.
With The Cloud, it only works as long as Adobe deigns that it should work. At any time, for any reason, Adobe can switch it off and render inaccessible all your work.
Before anybody accuses me of paranoia, Microsoft *already* did it with Plays For Sure, and I'm pretty sure there have been other similar incidents with various smaller players.
It's one thing to lose access to a music collection. But your own professional work?
I'll be sticking with CS6 until there's a non-cloud alternative. Even if that means a wait of several years.
What's perhaps most galling is that the pirates aren't going to be affected by any of this, while we, the paying customers, get screwed royally.
