I can believe it’s _supposed_ to be a special case. But vendor match => no correction is also _supposed_ to result in unmodified data being sent to the printer.
Might there be any sort of test one could do to see? Maybe a pair of profiles identified as the same but with some sort of difference that would be visible on a print?
