I think the Babelcolor author has a tool to measure uniformity and possibly
other display properties.
I don’t see any reason to doubt a certificate, there are Photo Research
radiometers that can map a whole display in one pass, and the fact that
there is a certificate would indicate a measurement is part of the
production process.
