As for the input AudioUnit - there's no reason why we haven't done one,
except that we haven't done one.
It seems like a reasonable idea, but can raise some complex issues if you're
using it in relation to units generating output and being pulled by a
different IO Proc. (Not that these are insurmountable - just things to deal
with).
But yes, you're correct - we've focussed mainly on output units at this
stage.
(Once again - if you've got scenarios, etc. about how you'd use this then
