QT/MIDI <-> CoreMIDI

On OS9, I could very easily redirect the output/input of QuickTime to use
FreeMIDI.
On OSX, it doesn't seem possible. I even tried digging out an old MIDI Driver
component, hacking it up-to-date, putting it in "forward only" mode with
maximym traces and install it. Nada, it's never even loaded by quicktime. The
quicktime "music" panel doesn't even have the "edit list" button it had in 9.

Is there a way to do that? I know a few (carbon) QuickTime apps that plays
QTMA, and thats too bad to have them sounding lame with the softsynth!

Michel
