I am looking for high level APIs that will help me record/pause/stop
audio on Mac OS X, control the format of the recording (like MP3 etc)
and as well as control where the recording output goes (like in memory,
to a file etc). Before I go on any further I want to make sure I am on
the correct mailing list. Also, if there is any documentation available
any where it might help me get up to speed with some of the details. I
have looked at a lot of places under
http://developer.apple.com/audio
but that didn't help me much.
