So does this imply that the work on a MIDI Timepiece driver that was
mentioned on this mailing list previously has been abandoned?
They never said they were going to make the MTP driver a part of the
shipping OS. It was suggested that it was going to be an example
project that was part of the SDK, or a separate download from the
developer site. However, they *did* say they were going to remove the
current MIDI driver, since it really doesn't work at all.
