Soft synth Unity Session crashes on start

  • Subject: Soft synth Unity Session crashes on start

Sorry if this is a bit off-topic on this list, but I hope you forgive me for that.

I just updated my system to 10.2.3. At that point I ran Unity Session 3.0.5 on a G4 800 Mhz PowerBook. This version of Session has had some problems on Jaguar, but it worked OK even after updating. A few days ago an update to Session became available, promising to fix the problems with Jaguar. So I downloaded and installed. But now the program won't even run anymore!

During startup I get a message that it unexpectedly quits. When I use it with Logic, the Unity Server also crashes, so there is no sound. Has there been any major changes to the audio handling in 10.2.3 that could cause this? But why then did the previous version work? Who should I be frustrated and angry with? Apple or Bitheadz (developing Unity)?

Any thougths on the subject is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time!

I included the crash log for Unity Server in case it is of any help:
