Hey all,
Hope this hasn't come up before, I checked the recent archives...
I just bought an Emagic EMI 2|6 USB to 6-channel out audio doohickey. It
was announced last year that the OS X drivers would be available in
September of 2001, and, if I recall right, this very device was
demonstrated in the WWDC core audio talk, with the cool "This is a test"
four-channel music demo. It was also said onstage that "this is using
vanilla OS X".
I bought this because I want to add multi-channel audio support to Omni
games, and I figure (hope) the interfaces will probably be the same for
consumer devices as for this (pricey) device.
However, under 10.1.2, I hook this baby up but I don't get any new sound
devices in the audio preference pane.
So, my questions are:
1) How do I get this to be recognized as an audio device?
2) Where can I get hold of the cool multi-channel demo apps that were
shown at WWDC last year?
and
3) Can I get a copy of the "This is a test" music? (A bunch of guys here
at Omni really dug it.)
Thanks,

PS: Apologies if this hits the list twice, the first attempt was
apparently rejected because I wasn't actually subscribed yet.
