Yes, they should.

The objective being to record 4 channels simultaneously.


You will have to do the magic at a higher level. The purpose of the HAL
is to present the hardware as is, not to create "virtual devices"
But the HAL gives you plenty of timing information that should really
ease your task for synchronization issues
