Could anyone advise :

- If you plug in 2 identical Stereo USB Audio input devices, are they individually accessible from Core audio. The objective being to record 4 channels simultaneously.

If they are identical USB devices, they had better have serial numbers or some programmable name in an EEPROM that the driver can use to uniquely identify them. If they don't, then every time somebody moves a USB cable there is a fairly good chance the application is no longer pointed at the same connections. [Developers of devices and drivers note this.]

Firewire is probably the same.
