What about USB audio devices like the Edirol UA-1A and UA-1D ?
>
Will these devices simply work with the generic USB audio drivers?
At this time, our USB Audio devices only work with Apple's generic USB Audio
drivers.
We have not yet determined if we will create our own drivers for UA-1A and
UA-1D but it is not likely. Access to non-audio data is not a normal
requirement of most users. So offering defined access and developing
proprietary drivers may not be justifiable for products in this price range.
If we develop our own USB Audio drivers for OSX our first priority will be
higher end models that offer more unique features. (UA-5, DA-2496, SD-90,
SC-D70, etc.)
