I heard a rumor that Sonorus (http://www.sonorus.com/) is currently not contemplating OS X support. You might be able to get some free hardware in exchange for writing a driver.

I am keen to start developing audio software on the macintosh, but I need some guidance as what hardware to get for multiple sound in and out (a key factor in the software I am writing).

Are there any early recommendations on what hardware might be supported soon via core-audio.

I have the Digidesign DIGI-001 at the moment, and that sort of hardware support is what I'm after (24/48).

Is the MOTU 828 supported yet? How about the Yamaha mLAN?

Paul.
