I notice that the preliminary docs for Audio and MIDI on Mac OS X refer to
an include called CoreMidi.h. Does anyone know where to find this file, or
whatever has taken its place? It isn't in my recent Codewarrior, nor does it

for calls such as MIDIGetNumberOfDevices(); perhaps there is something
fundamental here that I just don't get?

/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreMIDI.framework/Headers/CoreMIDI.h

All of CoreAudio is presented in a set of frameworks (CoreAudio, CoreMIDI, CoreMIDIServer, AudioToolbox, and AudioUnit frameworks). You include these frameworks (in a Mach-o project) in your Codewarrior project to link, and the headers are in the Headers folder in each framework.
