Subject: Re: [KT5]QT6 & MPEG 4 Interactivity Level Support

When I attempt to encode an AAC file in QT6 public preview I get a -213
siVBRCompressionNotSupported error in our app. We use the SoundConverter
under QT 6. Any ideas why this might be happening? I'm not aware of any
option to turn VBRCompression on or off with the SoundConverter.

The options dialog for the compressor also has a field called "Don't touch
this". ??

Thanks!
Steve Berkley
