siVendorProduct

Hello,

Does anybody know if the siVendorProduct selector actually works?

When I pass it to SPBGetDeviceInfo() under Classic, it returns the siUnknownInfoType error.

I would like to have a way to get the USB vendor ID and product ID for an USB Audio device without using the IOKit.

Is there any such way? Or is the siVendorProduct selector only implemented in Carbon's USB Audio driver?

Also, what are you supposed to pass? A pointer to an array of two UInt16 values representing vendor ID and product ID? That's what I'd expect, but I couldn't check since it looks like the selector is not implemented at all.

Thanks!
Alberto.
