There is an API on the MusicSequence object called:
MusicSequenceSetMIDIEndPoint
That will direct all of the MIDI events contained in a sequence to the set
MIDI Endpoint... (and individual tracks can be addressed to different
destinations - either audio units or MIDI Endpoints - so this can provide a
lot of flexibility)
We've done a lot of work on the MusicSequence and Player objects since 10.1,
there were areas in these APIs that weren't working correctly in 10.1 and
we've also added some much needed functionality to allow the recording of
MIDI events into a sequence, saving MIDI files out, etc.
These won't be covered in much detail at WWDC, but they will all be
available in Jaguar, so any comments or feedback on this API set will be
gladly received and acted on.
