Actually - the EMI uses Apple's AudioUSBDriver - the EMI kext is a firmware
update only. (which tends to imply that *any* USB Audio Spec compliant
device should work just as well).

Yes it does. We have addressed this problem with an Application Utility for
Jaguar to present a more focussed interface to deal with these issues.
