AudioEngine needs to stop itself for input source change

  • Subject: AudioEngine needs to stop itself for input source change

Hi,

my PCI card needs to be stopped when switching the input source. When switching the input, playback gets silent permanently - until I stop and restart my audio source (iTunes). I tried different things in the InputSourceChangeHandler (calling performAudioEngineStop(), pauseAudioEngine(), setState(...) ) but nothing helped.

I assume it's the lack of timestamps while my Engine is stopped that confuses the HAL. What should I do about it?

Thanks-
Heiko Panther
