Yes. Plus they have TCP/IP based Midi connectivity.
They are still propelling it. The OS X version utilizes CoreMidi.
Source code is available via CVS. I have used it for several projects
in the past because of its ease of use and crossplatform approach (they
still have Atari support). I don't know if it is sooo useful when
you're doing Mac-only. The latest news on their dev list is from this
week, an announcement of a MacOS X Version of an audiosuite called
Modularing:

I think I mentioned MidiShare before, because there's much to learn
from their experience made since 1987...
