With regard to these remarks and others, and just in case someone holding a
design job at Apple is listening, a super-quiet Mac would be welcome to many
people beyond those doing audio. The Cube was close, but the hard disk still
made an annoying whine: what we need is a silent-cooled Mac whose HD is
acoustically insulated using the techniques found in professional cameras
used in filmmaking. Even a few rubber washers would help...
