There actually are a couple of real bugs regarding this with the newest
dektop G4s. One is some open firmware issue, but I think that's only with
OS 9, and resetting the firmware will fix it. The other issue is that
some of the computers came with faulty logic boards and Apple will replace
them if you are one of the people who got one. I'm sorry, I don't
remember any of the specific details on these issues, try searching the
web...
