So I was out walking this morning and a thought struck me: We don't
have IB palette
of useful audio type widgets. I'm thinking knobs, LEDs, switches etc.
What would be
totally cool is if the knobs, for example, were AU units (thinking Hz,
cents, etc here)
savvy.
I'm planning on making a stab at this because I want them even if
nobody else does.
I will release the palette as it comes together. I plan on using
Hillegass's book as a
guide but if anyone out there is an IB guru please feel free to contact
me.
And before anyone yells at me for perpetuating dysfunctional audio
software interfaces
:-) I would ask that they consider those of us who don't have a lot of
time to spend
thinking up new interaction models - the knobs etc, are tried and true
and will at least
promote some level of consistency.
