Hi Robert,
Those LED's are quite lickable. I don't think there would be many
copyright issues borrowing those controls. They look surprisingly
similar to the Circular Slider control anyway, plus they are so
Aqua-like Apple should include them in the system control selection! If
modifications are made and distinguish your own version from it, things
should be ok.
I was planning on using them (a re-implementation of them) in a
programme I'm working on.

They certainly do have a very nice interface - however I'm sure those
funky
widgets are covered by their copyright. But that's exactly the sort
of stuff we
need to be able to grab and layout in our UIs.
Love those "lickable" LEDs :-)
