They certainly do have a very nice interface - however I'm sure those funky
widgets are covered by their copyright. But that's exactly the sort of stuff we
need to be able to grab and layout in our UIs.

Love those "lickable" LEDs :-)

Please, no knobs! Knobs are for fingers, not for mice. Just because they exist in the real world does not mean they are extendable to user interfaces.
Instead, try to use sliders. They *are* consistent in interfaces. Use buttons to turn on/off something.
