I wouldn't call it "dropping" support (since I can't honestly say it's
being supported right now) a bad thing ... I've said I'd look at the
state of the driver, and I will, this week. If the source is out there
for people to work with, I think that can only be good ...
Does anyone have a USB MIDI interface and driver combination that does
not
suffer from hangs, delays and lost data?
No problems here with UM-880 and the USB class driver. Haven't tested
the Emagic or Roland drivers as extensively but I don't hear complaints
about them. Midiman's and MOTU's drivers have been updated recently
and I don't have accurate recent information about them.
